Short Story
Emma could not believe what she saw in front of her. She had heard about people with mental problems that have hallucinations, but she was not one of those people, she was just a normal little girl, from a normal little town, with normal little people. So where did this enormous and weird place come from?
–Excuse me sir, did you know where I am? - She asks curiously to the first person she saw. But this person was not a person. This person was a big colourful animal wearing a strange suit with too many buttons. The creature, for Emma´s surprise, answered cordially.
– Oh young lady, I´m afraid that I can not help you with that. This is your journey, not mine.
– My journey? You mean my dream? Am I dreaming? – inquired Emma.
The animal was gone. Emma was confused. If this was a dream, when did her fall sleep? Maybe she was crazy, maybe this was Emma’s Wonderland.
This activity was particularly funny. To write stories, especially short stories, is something that I really enjoy. With short stories you have the opportunity to create mystery, at least I like to create mystery with them. It helps to develop the creativity of the person who writes the story and the person who reads it.
